Denny & Lori

Lori and Denny had an intimate gathering with closest family in their apartment’s beautiful community room. Surrounded by the incredible natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the ceremony was bright, heartfelt and happy.

We used local flowers vs. bulk/wholesale (more budget conscious); they really wanted bright colors and no roses. I incorporated unique elements and textures like ornamental berries, fuzzy kangaroo paw, and striking Leucadendron into the arrangements to balance out the more common varieties (Mums, Gerbera Daisies, Sunflowers.).

The bridal bouquet’s peach ribbon and the boutonniere’s gorgeous light orange pin-cushion bloom were the visual through-line from bride to groom.

  • A simple and small celebration in warm mid-October—low budget, no fuss, meaningful and intimate. Bride wanted a bouquet with bright pops of color that matched the details (woven threads) in her dress.
